- We are currently looking at the book of Acts.

AN ADULT INSTRUCTION CLASS will be starting Wednesday, May 15th from 7:00 – 8:15 pm and continuing on Wednesday evenings into the summer. This class is for those desiring to learn more about the Christian faith as well as those who would like a ‘refresher’. All are invited and if you have anyone who you would like Pastor Slater to invite, please let him know.

THE MAY CALENDAR and NOTES can be found on the stand in the narthex. Please note the addition to the newsletter in the form of suggested prayers during this coming month for your personal use.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY Continuing on Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m., the Ladies Bible study is taking a look at a book entitled “Distracted” by Sharla Fritz. All ladies are invited. The book can be ordered on Amazon. Any questions please see Julie Vogts or Caley Moddelmog.

BOARD of MISSIONS COLLECTION For the month of April, the Board of Missions is collecting non-perishable food items for our local food banks. For May and June we will be collecting diapers (sizes 1-3) for the Moundridge daycare and the Galva daycare. There will also be a large baby bottle set up for collecting change that you would like to give. If you would like to help with this collection, you may place your donations in the cart located by the church office. Thanks for your help!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KITS The LWML is making “Birthday Kits” to be given to local food banks in May. If anyone is interested in making a kit, instructions are on the shelf in the narthex or you can get one from Cathy Vogts or Diane Otte. We will be collecting them at our May 14th LWML meeting.

MY DEVOTIONS for March through May can be found in the narthex. These devotionals are great for our grade school and middle school youth in helping them grow in their faith in their Lord and connecting Jesus to their daily lives.

Portals of Prayer the new April -May edition, pocket and large print versions are now on the ledge in the Narthex.
